The Mission

Hi. I’m Christian, your mac evangelist.

For many years, I’ve been considered an expert in all sorts of technical things: computers, DVRs, cell phones —- gadgets and gizmos galore. As the landscape of technology continues to grow, so does my desire to learn, understand and extract the power and possibility of everyday technology.

My passion for the mac started at the tender age of 4 when my family purchased our first apple computer. They struggled to assemble it; A few minutes later, they found me sitting confidently in front of the (self-assembled and running) Apple //c.

The magic didn’t stop there: at age 5 I was programming “turtles” with Texas Instruments & MIT’s brainchild, the LogoWriter platform. By 6 years of age I had a legion of followers, sacrificing their elementary recesses, playing with and mastering MacPaint. At 8, I introduced a very non-traditional teacher (shout out to Mrs. Smith!) to one of the first word processing programs: The Writing Center. The class embarked on a year long digital-time-capsule —- a first of its kind. Fast forward to age 13 —- I was awarded a year-long independent study to investigate this thing called the “Internet”. What started as basic text, bouncing back and forth among deployed war soldiers, quickly evolved into what we know as the internet of today: the world wide web.

In college, while standing at the top of my class, I demonstrated excellence in ecommerce, database construction, web development/programming and of course, the Mac. I spent countless hours (with a then experimental program) teaching students and faculty how they could integrate technology into their classrooms and their lifestyles.

To this day, I hold Apple and the Mac in the highest regard. Although they hiccup on occasion, I still believe that their product(s) are far superior to any other personal computing experience/device(s) in the world.

I have helped hundreds of “switchers” move from Windows to the Mac, and continue to guide new and veteran Mac users alike. My goal is to help all Mac users, and Apple aficionados, maximize their computing experience. I’ve got the tips, the tricks, and the things EVERY Mac user should know to get the best results from their computing and/or digital experience.

I adopt new technologies long before the mainstream and revel in a world where tech is king. I strive to take all the geek-speak and boil it down into something tangible and understandable to the masses.

I hope to not only inspire new users, but to motivate and teach experienced users to realize that they think they know, but that they have no idea.

I hope to help you Maximize Ur Mac.
